Art is not really my thing, I never went into the Tate Modern despite going past that every day too, I never went into the National Portrait gallery either.
There is only one painting that I would like to have seen with my own eyes and that is Munch's The Scream. Unfortunately when I visited Oslo one of the versions had been stolen and the other was not on display at that time. I should have insisted really, it was the only reason that I went in to the National Gallery.Comment

Preferred the national gallery and the tate itself for summat with more substance.
worked with a clientco who had lots of contemporary art in house, needless to say wasn't impressed.
Tracy Emin stick drawings, wow Damien Hurst tracings with glitter, ooooh , Gavin Turk's blue pretentious plaque, YAWN and loads of other pointless crap, that I'm sure some idiot paid thousands for, and WHY????
I think the only piece of work that had any impact was a Gilbert and George, and that was fun and stood out.Comment

Give me some impressionist, some blake, some renaissance and I'm happy
