I received my first ever "please do the needful" email from Bangalore today.

I have never worked with offshore people before. Plenty of intra-company transfers in London, but never any based offshore.

The place I'm at at the moment refers to their Bangalore operations centre as bob and I have difficulty keeping a straight face every time I hear that but the locals would not get the in-joke.
