    Ebay?

As long as you're not looking for stuff the audio cognoscenti are interested in, you can pick valves up quite cheaply.

Especially since you don't care if they work or not.

You can get some really weird stuff on there sometimes.

      Morning

Have you managed to spring ZeitPater yet, Zeity?

I see Torchwood is coming back. Hope they don't wreck that too.

        Nah.

        Still in.

Now waiting to see dermatologist about his legs.

        Ho hum.

        When's Torchwood returning then?

They didn't say. There was a story on the BBC news site about it and I got the impression they hadn't written it yet, so next year probably.

Plenty of people with new ones for sale, and they arn't cheap, but I dont need them to work as they are going to be hacked about anyway.

              So, there we have it:

Motor driver pcb: assembled & tested ok.

PIC IceBreaker pcb: assembled, tested & flashing lights program loaded & run ok.

Lift call buttons: 2 single button & 2 double button pcbs: assembled & tested ok.

Lift internal floor selection & lift position sensor pcb: assembled & tested ok. Holes drilled for mounting on the mobile bit.

A productive couple of days, all in all.

Joining the bits up & then writing the code may take a while though.

I have a number of assembled projects that are awaiting the writing of the code.

I suppose I could write it in C instead of assembler.

But that would make the debugging a bit more difficult.
