its a chance to use some existing skills, learn new ones, different arena, mentor people and paid holidays (25 days)
25 days off a year would kill me.
When I left my first permie job, I was taking 35 days a year paid leave, plus the bank holidays. Next permie job was 20 days holiday (3 MUST be between Christmas and New Year), 1 day extra every year you have worked over 5 years, maximum 25 days.
I love my holidays - two more weeks till the next one.
I miss the training and I've noticed that some of my clothes have started to shrink
Mine too - although now that I'm staying in a flat rather than staying in a hotel, there is a chance I might eat marginally better than off take out and restaurant food every night.
Two weeks I've been there, and so far I have had 0 takeaways and only 1 restaurant meal.
