Swindon's not too bad if you're just working there - it's living there that ain't a lot of fun lol.
Aww, Man-chess-tah a bit too much of a trek for a southern softie such as myself. I'll try and hook up at the next London do tho. Been off the radar for a while due to being busy at current clientco (and sitting in a fairly exposed location )Proud owner of +5 Xeno Geek PointsComment

Deep gloom.
Can't seem to get Black & Decker Versapak batteries any more.
That's handy then.
Considering that I have a drill, jigsaw, and sander that require them.
Ho hum.Comment

However, looking on the brighter side, the ZeitGhost(tm) Zapper replica appears to be reasonably functional.
The hacking of the ABS box & the demented sawing of clear acrylic is more or less done.
It would have helped if I'd had a functioning jigsaw for cutting the acrylic sheet.
A junior hacksaw isn't really man enough (or lizard enough, or woman enough) for the job.
Mostly coz the blade ain't long enough, which makes things a bit awkward.
A blade jammed into a mole wrench sort of did the job of a pad saw, but I don't think I'd recommend it really.Comment
