What's really odd is the way the other cats have more or less disappeared.
Some one else's tabby was practically living on our windowsill up until Thursday.
Haven't seen hide nor hair of him since.
Next door's black & white cat said hello to me as I walked up the garden path this lunchtime. I fussed him a bit & then he ran away.Comment

I know they are not supposed to but cats do make friends. I had two very territorial ones who would mangle anything that came anywhere near the garden. They do seem to know, when one of ours got run over, the other didn't come back for nearly a day, as he was searching for him. We kept the other (aka Norpuss I) in for a couple of weeks after it happened and he used to howl in the middle of the night.Originally posted by zeitghost View Post
We may have rushed things a tad, as we got Norpusses II and III a couple of months later. Tht's the disadvantage of volunteering with cats protection, the other volunteers kept mentioning when new cats came in.Comment
