Either next door have lit a coal fire & the smoke is coming down my chimbly, or the fricken house is on fire.

A bit worrying, which ever it might be.

The chimbly in this room (my office) is the only one that's functional.

I could have a coal fire in here if I could actually get to the grate.

I've just finished setting the dining table (8 Guests for dinner)

Wifey is charging around like a whirling dervish

Have to go and chill the wine etc. now. I.e. chuck the bottles into a couple of buckets of snow because I forgot to buy 2 bags of Ice cubes
