I remember that CUK do well, considering I had 3 straight days and nights of Xmas parties in a row. I was practically dead by the end of it - hence the incarnation of the Champagne/Vodka/Red Bull combo.

I really must drag my ass down to London for one of these meet-ups.

Then I can teach you all how to dance. Badly.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

I wonder if I should set up a contractor WAG support group

I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh, but I suddenly I had this vision of a big hairy trucker in a string vest and pink tutu, weeping gently into a silk hankie.

Oh, dear. Now then. Having got over myself, I was going to say that CUK is a contractors' support group, albeit typically for Dads-Away-From-Home.

I'll let you register that domain ... but I suspect it will already have been taken by a village of the same name in Somerset.

Anyone familiar enough with Coffee and Cream must be somewhere in the Aston area, so I'm going to assume yet.

OK, I was sick on the platform on the underground. And at the hotel the following morning. And at the airport. And at home.
