I never drive Christmas Day - we're normally somewhere on Christmas Eve and then leave first thing Boxing Day to get to other family.

    NOT THIS YEAR!!!

I think things might be a little tense over there.
Its the SIL house, but her ex husband is living in there but she has served notice for him to leave.

My sister in law is vegetarian (one of them) and a nutter (the other). I'm not seeing either on Christmas day - I'll be cooking turkey instead

just re-fitted some skirting board in the living room.

When the radiator got fitted in the kitchen some pipe work got moved around in the living room, I've had to get the saw and chisel out to make the skirting fit.

All I need to do is fasten it on to the wall

It certainly sounds like an Xmas to remember.

Suggestion: get half cut before you go, just to get the day off with a swing.
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

the booze will be flowing (hopefully)

Their daughter, partner and 4 year old will also be there so at least DD2 will have some one to play with.

Especially if the kids get Mario party, resorts, winter olympics
