and that is the single worst thing about learning to ski - getting ready for the chair lift. those suckers are coming round whether you are ready or not and a newbie on the slopes has very little control over what they are doing.

thankfully i managed to just about stay in control each time. getting off at the top is the second worst thing about skiing - though i did get better at it as the day wore on.Comment

skiing itself was a blast. loved it once i had learned to let go. i can't remember the colour codes but i was getting ready for a go on the one before the top one and then we had to call it a day.Comment
