Could you make up some wifi webcams and place them round the campus with feeds onto the college web site? That'll keep you amused for a bit.

I've spent the last couple of hours defining a new component (a surface mount tactile switch) for the library.

Stone me, talk about hard work.

First you define yer new symbol for the schematic.

Right.

2nd you define its footprint for the pcb.

Right.

Then you tear your hair out trying to figure out why it doesn't appear in the list of parts despite being in the symbol lib and the component lib.

Eventually, after RTFM and the help files, you open the Other FM and read a bit of that.

It transpires that you have to edit a 3rd file with Notepad () to join the other two together.

Amazing.

Not bored again.
