            i recalled the colours of the hardback books and vaguely remember them including a tiny ant character but more than = vague

              i used to love them. they were lost in a house move (probably disposed of by parents who didn't think they were needed anymore)

                i've looked for them in bookstores but without knowing the titles or author or pretty much anything other than ant and the colour red.... no avail.

                  and then looking at the them!film review made me wonder if the film included spiders. ants and spiders i thought. and then *bang* i saw the title: ant & bee. the answer came to me and i wasn't asking the question.
