Rice. Apparently rice is a vegetable. So ½ rice ½ chips is both low-calorie AND two of your 5-a-day. (Unless the chips were done in vegetable oil, which is a shame, but makes it three of the 5-a-day.)
Potatoes don't count as a vegetable, so chips don't count. Nice try though.

my great grandfather fought in turkey. not the crimea. obviously. that would be ridiculous. his fathers, father could have done i suppose. if he had been in the army as opposed to being an agricultural labourer in hertfordshire.
