daughter and i were feeding the ducks. i was crouched handing her small chunks of bread and she was hurling them into the water.... she took a huge swipe, clipped the sunglasses from my ear and they, and the bread, sailed gracefully into the water.

i briefly thought about... and then decided not to. they were old, unfashionable, chewed, scratched, loose and probably not even a good prescription anyway.
