Just to really make my day, the USB Wi-Fi dongle thingie won't install properly.

I've downloaded the latest drivers and tried installing them first, but it makes no difference.

As soon as the drivers are installed, even if I don't install the USB device, the PC won't boot properly. Just loads of "Explorer caused an error in <unknown>" messages that never end.

So that's a piece of NetGear crap - as crap as their support forum turned out to be, the smug twats - that's going back to the shop for a refund.

Dammit, if that was the outcome I wanted I'd have bought it in PC World in the first place.

Why do builder's have to start each working day with a lump hammer?

When we moved in, the removals men carried the big things in through the carriageway and in through the big patio doors at the back. The furniture and contents of the shed now won't be going out that way.

As for where their van will go, heaven knows.

There's no more room for a crane than for a removals van. But the stuff can go out the front door instead; it's just not as easy.

The removals van cannot go on the road as there are zig-zags because of the crossing, then double-yellow lines.
