I used an ancient (& ripped off) version of Wordstar for Dos on an Amstrad 1512 many moons ago.

It was great.

An infinite improvement on the General Automation line editor I'd used for the previous 7 years.

That sounds familiar...

At college everyone was encouraged to use SOS as the editor. I didn't like it. I preferred TeCO. And I'm a squillion per cent sure it stood for Text Editor and COmpiler.
