The post just arrived.
It included loads of junk but not the special delivery order that was placed two days ago.
So that was extra postage well spent.Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

Amongst the post...
Amongst the post is a long, wee-yellow piece of cardboard with a 2009 calendar on one side. So it is about 6 months too late!
On the back it has "useful telephone numbers" and they have reprinted the useful telephone numbers that the council sends out every year with the Council Tax bill. Except the council one is blue and glossy and nice and this looks like a huge, used pregnancy testing strip.
The front says:
"Calendar 2009
<calendar bit>
Lib Dems Working All Year Round
Recycling Help Desk 0845 123 1234
Household recycling Centre Sites:
Location 1
Location 2"
So they know we're just going to bin it then!Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

Amongst the post...
Amongst the post is a fake newspaper.
It is entitled the "County Mail" (where county is the county I am in) and it is made to look like a local paper.
"Delivered free to 12000 homes across County"
Everything about it makes it look like a freebie local paper.
It's fake. It is all LibDem stories.
Patronising tossers. Is that how stupid they think we are?Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

Amongst the post...
Amongst the post is a survey.
It is for local residents.
It asks about crime and policing and it is all leading questions and provides boxes for rants.
It also gives a list of common grievances and you can tick which ones would bother you.
It has the parish name at the top, nice and big. It has the council name and logo and stuff rather larger and more prominent than the libdem email address and postal address on the back.
In the small print it says you have to write to them to be removed from their mailing list if you fill in this 'survey' But not quite in those words.
There's been nobody around from the libdems asking questions before. Election coming up, is there?
Two faced, patronising, poorly deceiving tossers.Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

When living in Anglesey the Plaid Cymru chaps came round at voting time.
All friendly until I opened my mouth and my London accent came out; their faces changed completely.
I carried on being friendly and smiling and said "I am intending to vote for you. However, can you just clarify your policy on Europe?"
They dithered, looked at each other, and guessed. They guessed wrong.
"Ooh, no. All against it. Etc."
"That's a shame" says I. "I think Wales should be very pro-Europe" and then gave them a lecture as to why. "So I shall have to look elsewhere for a party that is forward thinking."
It was fun watching them kick themselves!Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

Well that's a disappointment. I just picked up a sandwich from the ClientCo shop that had the words "Honey", "Mustard" and "Salad" on the label. I thought the presence of ham within said sandwich would be a given, but it turns out they replaced the ham with "Pumpkin Seeds"Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment
