The lower reservoir seemed fairly low, but the upper one looked pretty full. The dam between the tow is wonderfully gothic!Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket? -
Just about... I've lost patches of skin here & there & pong of TCP... it does smart a bit...Originally posted by voodooflux View PostMorning squire
I trust all your limbs are intact?
Used a drop of Southern Comfort as an antiseptic & that smarts even more.
Though a good slug of it took the pain away.

Yes.Originally posted by voodooflux View PostThe lower reservoir seemed fairly low, but the upper one looked pretty full. The dam between the tow is wonderfully gothic!
There's something intimidating about dams... that deep dark water & all that.
There's a house in the trees below the dam & it was on fire the last time I walked past it & I nearly got run over by the fire engine...

Yeah, the large reservoir and dam to the south (towards Merthyr Tydfil) looks very intimidating too - especially to those working below it in the water treatment works!Originally posted by zeitghost View PostThere's something intimidating about dams... that deep dark water & all that.
Couldn't they have just opened the tap on the dam a bitOriginally posted by zeitghost View PostThere's a house in the trees below the damn & it was on fire the last time I walked past it & I nearly got run over by the fire engine...
