I've just spent a delightful 40 mins trying to find the difference between the Atmel ATtiny45V-10PI and the Atmel ATtiny45V-10PU.
To sum it up, the I has lead in it & is no longer available.
The U is lead free and is £1.90.
I have pointed out to the student that we have no programming hardware for these devices, but I don't think it penetrated...Comment
