I get the impression that I'm not popular at work for not being there at this crucial time.

However, the minor inconvenience of BOTH RUNWAYS BEING CLOSED doesn't seem to have filtered through management brain yet.

If you lived South of Watford then this issue would not have arisen.

You would have been unable to make it in as no trains, tubes or buses.

Not enough to close the airport. It's just southern jessy airports that can't handle the weather.
