A book I read years ago has been on my mind recently, it featured a mans experiences while using Mescaline from the Peyote cactus - in the company of an Indian guide the chappie recounted his trips culminating in a flight as an eagle (?) & it’s not Huxley’s Doors of Perception

Does anyone know the name of the book and/or the author?

              Cannot find it on google
