I bought a Scotch egg from the Sainsbury's deli counter in Salisbury.

It didn't have an egg in it. Hollow, it was.

I must admit it was well constructed.

Almost out of work - 18 days to go, having just returned today.

Had lots of time off sick last year, so they let me go. Still let me go when they knew I was well enough to work, and then had to get me back in.

PM apparently was saying while I was negotiating coming back that "he wants more money to come back..." when all I wanted was them to pick up the ADDITIONAL expenses that their incompetence will cost me.

When I got home there was a frantic message on the answerphone to make another appointment with them, FFS. No wonder I'm stressed! So I rang back and explained I had a course today and meetings all week. They weren't happy. "We don't want to panic you but it is important a doctor sees you right away." Is the NHS supposed to make you ill?

Right - I'm going before the talk turns to chips again, can hear one of the little pests roaming about upstairs and I need to sort the out.

Whilst those calls can be annoying I agree, they are in your best interests. Those readings are not good and whilst you may feel fine, hypertension is a serious condition that is not known as an often undiagnosed killer for no reason. Get it sorted, even if it means taking a pill every day for the rest of your life.

I go back this Friday for a three month check, and to see if the results from my brain scan are back yet. And also to review the betablockers that I'm on and see if they are working (which they are - touch wood).

Very similar to mine about three years back. I think it was mainly due to working extended hours at the time, so I was a little run down and possibly a little stressed. All is well now though thankfully.

That is rather high though - I would seriously consider booking that follow up appointment.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?
