Morning, all.
Another day of surfing for jobs and then tidying the house, methinks.
Had an email last night for a job in Dubai but they will only pay for a return trip every three months. Suggested to the agent that I'd be interested if they would pay for one every month, and he's just said "You could come home once a month but it would come out of your own pocket."
Thanks, Sherlock.Comment

The trouble with having had so much time off sick last year is that I just don't want to work any more, so I'm very picky (which is not necessarily the best thing to be at the moment).
Rate isn't that good, but they will pay for accommodation. If I take off the costs that I incurred on the last gig, the daily rate on this one is still £130 a day (plus their accommodation) lower, and I have to incur a 9+ hour flight to get there.
Think I'll pass on it and see if there is something better out there. Part of me is still hoping that the last client will come to their senses, bite the bullet, swallow their pride and get me back in - better the devil you know and all that...Comment
