We go M6, M54, A5, then off the beaten track to Bala, Trawsfynydd, Porthmadog, etc. It's a nice run and there are some amazing roads through Snowdonia.

We drive through Portmeirion on the way, but we've never really spent much time there. It's one of those places we've been meaning to visit for years.

Very scenic drive : but takes a while......
