Plumber has finished for the first week, and was kind enough to relieve me of another £1000 today.

So far, that's £5300 or so that I've paid out for the new bathroom, and he hasn't actually started doing anything with new pipework yet.

But he has removed the old bathroom, including having to rebuild the main wall because there was nothing holding it up apart from the door frame.

We've pushed the boat out and gone for a spa bubbly bath.
