I have no idea what variety my apple tree is... the apples start ripening in mid July and are all gone by September.

Crimson Red when ripe and the flesh is pink... this year was excellent because the moths were noticably absent.

Sounds like you pay get VF 'scrumping,' in your back garden next year.

Someone stole all the pears off my pear tree this year...
