I don't understand then. tay says that there is a Churchill clique. Surely a clique must have more than one person in them

DD2 made it through the night without being sick and appears better today - she has gone to school.

Although she must think the world is against her - on friday she couldn't go kick boxing as I was still at clientco, last night she couldn't make it to beavers, and tonight we don't think it would be a good idea to go swimming.

Well it turns out the original pub we were going to doesn't serve food on a Monday, so we had to seek an alternate venue. Fortunately there's another good pub just yards away, so we headed there. Alas they appeared to have changed their menu a few weeks back, so the meal I was going to have (steak + sausage meat on top + another steak on top of that + fried egg on the very top) was no longer available. So instead I started with fishcakes (v. nice) and then had a rump steak with "fat chips". The steak had a massive dollop of garlic butter on top for that extra helping of grease
