That't the Plan - Local role, Oops sorry, Job, Pay not bad, learn a few new skills so I will see hw it goes. Even Hubby says to treat it as a temp. Job and then I can contract again when things get better. I would sooner have some type of job then none at all If I don't like it I can leave anyway.
Just call me Matron - Too many handbags

Me too... I'm waiting for my batteries to charge & while I'm doing it, I'm reading "Hollywood Station" by Joseph Wamaugh...

Plus I couldn't be arsed to walk down into Swansea this lunchtime... my knees are knackered.

          And it's windy & cold.

Knees dont operate so well when its cold. Do you generally have knee problems?

I do since I've stopped driving & started taking the train... it's going downhill that's the worst... very uncomfortable... and the hills around here.... <eeek>

I remember doing a few hill starts in Swansea in the 1980s!

Odd how going downhill can be quite tiring/wearing. I remember going with Mrs BP to Austria in May - went to top of hill and walked down. Took 5 days for my muscles to recover.

Still I suppose I could have been going uphill....
