I reckon that if EC had stayed just in TPD, then he would have been allowed to stay. As annoying as he was, disturbing TPD is not enough to get a ban automatically.

Starting 15 other "Please delete this test" threads, and a few counting threads was what did for EC.

In order to get away with not contributing much useful, you either have to be

(a) Female
(b) From the old board
(c) Entertaining

(or any combination of the three).

e.g. milan falls into (b) quite clearly. SandyDown fell into (b) but even that was not enough to save him. EC fell into none of those categories

d) A Giant Alien Lizard who secretly rules the world.
