I used to feed my batams with Potatoe Peelings amongst other things, also do not forget to add something like Oyster shell into their feed ( can used crushed egg shells).

I kept mine years ago, but we did have an good supply of eggs! Wanted to get some Chickens recently ( ex battery hens) but I am afraid the dog's ( well one of then) will eat the poor things.
