After dark in the African Poor states was the worst.
You only went out at night if you were carrying, and never alone.

Lobito in angola was the worst.
That's where I took a blade to the shoulder.
Broke the guys arm and ran like hell.
We were dug in at a hotel for two days before they smuggled us out.
Never ever going back to that rat hole.

People moan about this country.
They want to try living in Africa proper for a while, cost of living is cheap and Life is even cheaper.

Gangsters in Europe and the states have got nothing on the kids in the war torn states of Africa.
There they think nothing of killing an entire family just to prove a point or to take a bag of maize.

People starve over there and they give the kids AK's and full clips for free.
no food just weapons. what do they expect the kids to do, swap the weapon for food. Yeah right.

Anyway, got into computers in the early eighties after taking engineering and led a much quieter life for a while.
