Probably. A friend of mine had parked near to Twickenham stadium on a Thursday evening and not got round to picking up the car until Sunday, except it wasn't there. Phoned police, they said it had been moved round the corner since there was a game on Saturday.

Except it had been moved onto a single yellow line. Where it had picked up a fine as it was residents only.
