I feel suitably qualified and will rise to the challenge: How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostI am now bored! I would even welcome a question from a numpty.......Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment

One of my neighbours was a convicted burglar. Back in the 40s/50s.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostHis DNA was found in a house he burgled in 2006 - that's how they were able to link him to the 1987 case.
I would have been shocked to hear that he was a burglar, never mind anything else
He ran a taxi firm & when people went away on their hols, he ran them to the railway station and then...
Did time.
My grandfather (a part time chimbly sweep) would never sweep his chimblys.
Presumably because he was a burglar.Comment

In a fit of insanity I've just bought the collector's edition of Blade Runner. (Not the limited edition in the tin can, but the same thing in the cardboard sleeve, all 5 disks of it).
I have the VHS video (with voiceover), the director's cut in VHS(without voiceover), the DVD(probly the Director's cut mk I), the Director's directors cut on DVD, and now this one.
Someone bring the strait jacket.
Oh.
And volume 3 of Dad's Army, and the collected Monty Python films.Comment
