She'll read this and go all girly and broody on us now

Have to take wifey down to the DWP to drop some paperwork in.
She passed the Literacy and Numeracy tests with 100% so they will be letting her know whether she got the job within 2 weeks.
Sounds promising although there are 174 applicants for the job.

They are still interviewing today (Sunday)

She was told by the interviewer, that with her qualifications and experience she was by far the best applicant to apply, and because of her test results, to be interviewed so far.

I hope she gets the job, she's working now, but has to commute, and this new job she's applied for, is only a few hundred yards from the house.
