In theory I should have moved desks today - but I am still in the dungeon.

Some bint in the warehouse just crashed one of these http://www.jungheinrich.co.uk/genera...a=en&ty_id=190 into another one at full pelt.
Now 2 fork lift trucks hitting each other is not the end of the world but these are custom built for the warehouse, lift to +10 meters, use wire guidance on the floors etc. Both are write offs. We have ~70 on site.
Cost per unit: £230,000
Nearly half a mill in pieces now
Its great when its not you that's ****ed up spectacularly.Comment

When I bought a new house in Wandsworth in 1998, a cherry picker driver let a 10 year old boy drive. Nearly took out a house - but swerved and wrote-off a sports car and a transit.Comment

I let the train take the strain this morning...
But stone me, that frigging hill is steep...
Though it should be said that in my idiocy I took a "shortcut" which must be the steepest hill I've been up in a while.
Thought I was going to die by the top of it...
