Yep - seems like that's the case.
The cons may outweigh the pros for the mods, removing the post count like that - likely that their traffic has dipped, and potential ad revenues as a result. Would be interesting to see if that was the case.

Still - it's not about the post count, it's the spirit of TPD that counts!
