    BBC Weather

    Anybody else think this site has gone down hill since they revamped it? You used to be able to get rain, temp and cloud all in one map and cycle through it. Now you have to flick to different maps to get temp and now its just vauge colours instead of the temp number.

    Plus now the maps dont display on my iPhone

    Because change is not good.

    </DOUR YORKSHIRE ACCENT>

    I think that all of us over a certain age have learned the weather forecast in a certain way that was dictated by the limitations of the technology available at the time. i.e. Using sticker symbols on a fixed board meant that the forecast had to be presented to us covering the whole country at once in time-sequence.

    Now, most people who wake up in one part of the country will be spending the whole day in that part of the country and so will not be in the slightest bit interested in what happens elsewhere.

    Local focus is the way forward - time for the dinosaurs to adapt or clear out I say!

      Yes, and also I noticed they seem to have reverted to the old post code database.

      I tend to ignore the BBC reports these days, and quite frankly I find my own testicles are better predictors of the weather than they are these days.

        This site seems to be down. Have your testicles dropped?

        (or is it all just a load of balls?)
