    Newcastle - Scottish Borders??

Having looked at several border maps and arguing the toss with a very good Geordie friend of mine, I thought a poll would be in order. Some maps show Newcastle as Scotland, others as England - so what's the collective thought on this?

        Not only agents.

Newcastle is a long way past the back of beyond.......based purely on a single interview with NorthernCrock a few years ago.

First train got in about 15mins after the appointment time.
I was busy the day before (another interview at the oposite end of the world - Bristol I think) and (as I was on the bench) didn't want to/have time to sort out Hotel.
Set of by car sometime in the middle of the night - I got there in plenty of time - but was "made" to wait about 40mins for interview with some nutter who really didn't like/want a contractor, role/rate weren't great either, didn't even get offered a cup of coffee!!! Interview only took about 20mins. Started off home to be greeted by Hurrican force winds blowing HGVs and coaches all over the road, torrential downpours causing floods and road closures, diverted down single lane tracks.... took me about 3days to get home..... (somewhat as expected) didn't get the gig!!! (or the one in Bristol)

You argued with a Geordie that Newcastle is in Scotland?
