About 6pm we saw a convoy heading toward the M25 on the M3.
Years and years ago, I saw the Chairman Gorbachov convoy going up the A40 (Westway) in London and waved at Mrs Gorbachov when at the lights. It was not as big as the M3 convoy we just saw.
The M3 convoy must have been spread over at least half a mile with loads of Police bikes.
They were heading into the snow we had just left behind on the M25.
We wondered who it was.
In other news, some Chinese geezer is here. Where was he coming from if he was travelling East up the M3?
I thought big nobs arrived at RAF Northolt in West London.
