The use of 'WHS' reminds me of this bit from Rob Newman's History of the World backwards.
Samuel Johnson laments decline of the English language
Sir, the English language is in decline. Allow me to quote you a transcript of a conversation from the twenty-first century. People then would think nothing of using as many as twenty similies in a single sentence:
‘I was like getting off the bus and he was like on the pavement and I was like ‘is he blanking me?’ cos if he is that’s like ‘oh my days!’
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

The degree of your brain hurting when thinking.. is in direct proportion to the likelihood and frequency of using 'WHS'. Too much usage results in varicose brains and dribbling.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostI tried to think about that and my brain now hurts.
Posting on cuk can be so taxing sometimes.....The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment
