I'm sorry if your grandparents aren't still around (mine included, they died a long while ago), but for those whose grandparents still are, can they read and write? My husband's grandmother is still alive and well and lives in Stoke-on-Trent, but can't read or write. She signs herself 'X'. What can she do?
