At last, some reaction from the Toon Army

Wel, they did manage 5 tonight, athough this quote from AOL Sport is bringing up some rather unpleasant late-night visions ......

"Titus Bramble, Alan Shearer and substitute Darren Ambrose completed the rout as United finally shook off their ring rust to remind a crowd of 36,007 of the excitement they have enjoyed over the last two seasons."

      Ring Rust ????????

Ouch.....maybe a good curry would cure the "ring rust"!!!

Hopefully that'll spark our guys into action, will be interesting to see how we get on against the Gooners on Friday night. :rolleyes

          Re: Handbags

Don't forget your handbags :lol and sharpen those claws for the cat-fights with Martin Meown and Catnip Viera

a 0-0 draw would be perfect as far as I am concerned

            Tonights Game

            Eric...which team do you support?

If someone offered a 0-0 today, would snap their hand off!

Re: Tonights Game / Deam Team

Quel Surpris The @rse win with a penalty , should keep Monsieur Whinger quiet for a week or two. I have not seen it yet, switched my Sky Sports Subscription for MUTV this week

I also support my Sun Dream Team, with Lehman and Cole doing well so far, a 0-0 would have been perfect. Currently in the top 500 , not bad when there are 1/2 million entries

                Lucky Arsenal ??

I have read 3 or 4 reports on the match last night, can't wait to see the supposed Handball incident. :\

One report suggested that Jenas was pushed into the ball :\

Any real fans that were at the match want to comment ? and before you all start ..... NO I have never been to Old Trafford and YES I do live in the South of England :b

However I have seen them more than once abroad, mainly in Germany, and I had the Ultimate Pleasure by being on a contract in Munich in May 1999

I was not as discourteous as one of my colleagues was, in wearing my shirt the next day at work - I waited until the Friday.

                  I was there

Yes....was at the game. Don't think he was pushed....didn't look like it from where we were standing, simply stupid mistake that cost us a point. At least it was a much improved performance, made a big difference putting Bowyer infield & Dyer on the wing.:hat

                    Re: I was there

Silly mistake indeed , however it is still very strange how that could be considered deliberate handball ! he was head and shoulders above any Arsenal player, his hand merely brushed the ball as he was flying through the air, and the ball would have ended up out of play for a throw in :\ :\

No disputing any of "Van the Man" s goals however
