The ongoing saga of me and this honey that I have been trying to get it on (see threads about me being stood up, mates wife pairing me up etc etc) gets better tonight....hitting a low class resturant (only because I know the owner) with her.

Reasonable contract on a reasobale rate, easy commute, nice location, office etc etc so cant complain on the work front really.

Home life a bit sh1t though, think me and the gf have grown apart after 10+ years... just kinda coasting at the moment to see what happens. Maybe the whole single thing might be a good thing for a while who knows?!

very,very happy. Mrs Namor is a looker, two great kids, picking up a new motorbike on friday and off on me holidays next month. Get paid loads for doing very little. LIFE IS GOOD !!!

The useless shoes you refer to are what she would class as a treat. She'll get pure pleasure from buying them. She'll feel she deserves them.

Unlike her trainers, which she'll see as a chore, and (strangely) she'll not want to waste money on them.

By not buying the trainers she'll actually feel like she's being thrifty and NOT wasting money.

That explains why all the food she buys is on clearance. My father's day gift was also on clearance (and not what I needed).
