The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.” -

happy with the toddler - he can do no wrong.
Work - is okay but boring and I hate the commute. Whilst I pay, so many people don't as I live further out and the train pack up full later. I suppose I could hide in the toilet like the regular fare dodger does.
Wife - O&C. One moment wanting to leave England (I'm all for that) next moment setting up a business and tossing money around like it grows on trees. A bit true as she is rakeing it in on the tax credits. Quite happy to buy useless shoes which she never wears, but unwilling to buy a new pair of trainers when she can't find her old ones. (Any explanations SA?)

The useless shoes you refer to are what she would class as a treat. She'll get pure pleasure from buying them. She'll feel she deserves them.Originally posted by lilelvis2000Quite happy to buy useless shoes which she never wears, but unwilling to buy a new pair of trainers when she can't find her old ones. Unlike her trainers, which she'll see as a chore, and (strangely) she'll not want to waste money on them.
By not buying the trainers she'll actually feel like she's being thrifty and NOT wasting money.

The ongoing saga of me and this honey that I have been trying to get it on (see threads about me being stood up, mates wife pairing me up etc etc) gets better tonight....hitting a low class resturant (only because I know the owner) with her.
So happy today, probably being depressed tommorrow.Comment
