Is it possible to fly to the US and go to a firing range and shoot lots of exotic weapons? Are there any restrictions?

I like the idea of a fly-shoot holiday. Fly over on the cheap and shoot the feck out of everything for fun.

Any links? Organised trips for trigger happy types?

It must include, pump action, large calibre handguns, automatic weapons, maybe the odd RPG for a finale.

I don't mate - a mate organised it as part of a stag do.

We fired MP5's, AK-47's and a multitude of handguns.

We could have shot a live cow too.

I did that in Cambodia. I fired a Glock and a replica AK47. Cost US$20. You could throw hand grenades and lots of other stuff but that was pretty $$. And for something like US$200 they would open a gate to a well fenced off field and let a cow wander into the field. You would sit there with a beer and watch and wait until the cow trod on one of the land mines buried there. And that is for real. Although I can imagine some do-gooder group have managed to get that stopped.

I was in the CCF as a younger man - I fired a Bren LMG, Sten, GPMG, SA80, Browning, Lee Enfield 303. I was marksman on 303 and SA80.

GPMG was pretty good chomping up targets.

Me too. You forgot the LSW and the funny green sniper rifle!!! The single shot version of the SA-80 was the Cadet GP...

It was even better when you were the senior NCO (18+) and got to chuck thunderflashs at schoolkids

One of our senior NCOs flushed a thunder flash at a party in a flat. Terrible mess in the flat below.
