Can you pleaese care to share your finding as perhaps not everyone is as good as yourself in research. I don't see this information can be this confidential or can go contrary to the interests of this forum. -
The Edge trustee was in the IOM and then moved to Costa Rica (or somewhere equally exotic).
However it appears that IOM is again involve in Edge.
A few minutes research can give you the name and contact details. (or at least that's all it took me).Leave a comment:

Thanks for your tip Demby. So do you think it is worth getting these loans written off at all or can we just let them be there forever and just forget about them. Also if Edge has lost track of our physical address etc. what are the risks of them chasing you in the future and can they chase if they don't know where you live?Originally posted by demby View PostBe careful as I've seen posts saying that as soon as they are written off Inheritance Tax will be due.
Previous correspondence from HMRC has said that the Edge scheme would not be subjected to IHT but that was then and these bastards change the rules on a daily basis
How much is the IHT liability as my loan figures are not that big. Around 60-70k? Lastly, who to contact on the Edge side for loan writeoff?Leave a comment:

Be careful as I've seen posts saying that as soon as they are written off Inheritance Tax will be due.Originally posted by ammark View PostHello I received a settelement offer from HMRC which I am willing to accept. I used Edge EBT scheme. The letter advises me to take steps for the loans to be released within 30 days of agreeing settlement with them. If I do, no further tax will be payable on those loans.
May I ask whom to contact on the Edge side for the loans release query and are they willing to release them (intsead of taking advantage of the poor contractors along with Her Majesty).
Thanks

On the verge of Settlement with HMRC

Well, I received a message a while back here on the forum I believe that said:
"The current trustees of the Edge EBT are:
Winnell T P & Co
7, Hill St, Douglas,
IM1 1EF
01624 670022
"
But I haven't validated it.Leave a comment:

Trustees
Who is the Edge trustee?
Mapatui Ltd ? Company disolved in 2014
Tenon Ltd ?
Someone else ????Leave a comment:

May I ask, did you do this yourself or you know of someone else that has.Originally posted by webberg View PostYes.
However a write off now without the comfort of a settlement agreement that states unequivocally that no further tax charge can arise, would not be sensible.
Thanks.Leave a comment:
