It should not be our business, but the fact is that the APN team and the Settlement team seem to have no idea what the other is doing, and there appears to be no communication between the two whatsoever.

Remember this is HMRC we are talking about.

They are both using the same 10 digit reference number on the CLSO/APN letters. CSLO are based in Bootle and the APN team are based in Newcastle. APN team haven't got a clue who have sent in the CLS02 forms or not. Doesn't make much different as the balance is changed once the APN is paid and you are settling.

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. Just received a APN for two years when I worked under Assignment Solutions and am slightly panicked after realising none of the original advisors are still around to offer advice on next steps.

Of course I'll surf the other threads to see if there's any advice but I'd be grateful if anyone could PM me if they're going through the same experience and can share the alternative courses of actions they've explored/chosen.

PM me when you can. I'm hearing there might be something put together (self funded) if there are enough people with APNs out there.
At the time, it is not clear how many got them.

In the meantime, I'd recommend joining Big Group (see below)

The thing with ASIOM is that it got shut down by IoM authorities (not sure for what motive...), as far as I know.
