TSSP LLP was the managing partner for all the TSSP NoXYZ partnerships

Yes the are related. TSSP was TSMP. It also had the usual suspect as a director until he was replaced by another company.

I don't know if if it was on this forum but read somewhere that Jim Smith is listed as an administrator of at least one Partnership.

        Hi Gus,

I think they'll be expecting you to pay. It sounds like you were definately mis-sold the solution by Sunday (as all of us were). The massive business expenses you see on your accounts will include a Sunday IPR change which is a flat sum for the year - so if you were in for one month or the whole year, this figure will have been the same. Basically, the only way the solution was ever likely to yeald anything even close to a reasonable return would have been if you stayed in for a whole year and ran up a stack of personal expenses that could be used to offset your tax. It also depends how often and for how much other people in your partnership were invoicing. If the answer to either is more than you, I think you will have had to bear an equal, but unfair for you, share of the added invoicing expense dealt out by Reed Morgan / Willowmead.

Sounds unfair, but as XXXXXX (ex tax planning specialist at Sunday) explained to me at the time, this was the way the solution was supposed to dodge IR35 - by making a partner's income dispropotionate to their contract value and therefore classifying the intermediary as a type similar to a partnership of accountants or lawyers where one partner can find himself permanently seconded to one client.

Now it seems even that was incorrect.

          Call a partnership meeting

Each partnership is meant to have an annual meeting- call on the partnership administrator to arrange one. then move to call a meeting of all partnerships

It is claimed that James Smith is/was andy's sidekick/bookkeeper in his "other business". he was put up in a lot of partnerships as acting partner. We were told by the Sunday Salesman that he was to be the SIGNATORY ON BANK ACCOUNTS to help us !!!! (that was a hint) but I bet someone else did the day to day money handling ............
Bet he enjoys this lot of cobblers if he is allowed to look at things on the web at all.

If you look carefully you may see that the TSSP LLP was a master partner in a lot of the numbered partnerships. I wonder what it got paid and why they stopped using it

          All donations gratefully received
See you at the first ever partnership meeting then.

TSSP LLP has two limited companies as it's partners and one is wholly owned by a Luxembourg company.

I was going through old emails today and came across a PDF which shows a screenshot of the Barclays online banking system. It shows a payment was made to HMRC, has the Partnership SC & AC along with who submitted and verified the payment. The payment was submitted by Carmen Cox and verified by Matt Savage.

Sorry for sounding thick but how useful is this info?

This message is for all those who still have to submit their 2008/2009 taxes from Sunday/Bradbury.

I have consulted a certified accountant about this and he has stated that we need to get in contact with the other members of our partnership to draw up a tax return for that partnership now otherwise HMRC will start the whole process again with penalties for us. Once the penalization process starts we will not be able to stop it until the returns are submitted and all tax and penalties paid.

HMRC do not care that we have been ripped off by this scheme. They want their taxes and they will find everyone that can be related to Sunday and Bradbury to get them back.

We need to get together and fill in the tax forms for 08/09. All we need are the Tax reference numbers of the members of each partnership and also the tax reference number of your partnership to do this along with a good CERTIFIED accountant to sort this out.

Please contact me via PMs to start to solve this problem. I am trying to do everything possible to solve this at least from a tax point of view. I am happy to prove who I am but not at a public level.

JaimeGarcia - Did he say how that would be possible without seeing the Partnership bank account, copies of expenses etc?

                  Comment

He said that it would be possible to at least avoid the late fees by submitting an estimated tax return.

As to expenses they can go on your records. As to the bank account it looks like Rhines has a screenshot.

JaimeGracia - your best bet is to join the Sunday Action group. Once registered you may find others in your partnership have already logged their details. I suspect some people may not have realised there is a problem yet and will likely realise some time in Feb when HMRC start writing to them for money, accounts etc. If you search the last few pages you will find the email address.
