    Off Payroll working - consultation

HMRC is sending out invites to physical meetings on the above.

There is one in Long Benton near Newcastle and now two in London.

The London dates are 9th and 13th September. I understand that the 9th is full and the 13th is filling fast.

(With apologies to those in the North, I've forgotten the date and have no time to look it up).

If you are interested in attending, you will need to move quickly to get on the list (which may already be closed if HMRC chooses to be pedantic).

If you have a point of view or opinion or comment on the proposal and are unable to attend or have that view expressed via an adviser or other party, I'd be happy to take it on board and raise it.

I would just caution that the extent to which any views etc will be taken into account in the final rules, is, based on past experience, likely to be minimal. It is however important to have the questions and answers recorded as Courts have been known to examine such statements in deciding cases.
