    Big Group contact

I am a very late arrival to the party for one reason or another.

But to summarise I was an early 2003 MP client and then followed on with a loan for a short period.

I have only just received a letter relating to loan repayment and do not want to do the wrong thing in light of all the information now available.

Have just spent three days reading all relevant threads. Now, my head is spinning - so please could someone put me in touch with BigGroup?

    Thank you.

Thanks for the recommendation - appreciated.

To be clear on the prices.

There is NO increase on August 1st for joining and staying with Big Group. It remains as currently advertised.

In the event that we reach and propose a settlement however, those who join AFTER 31st July will be asked for a further fee to take advantage of that settlement.

Those who are members before that date and who have not left through whatever reason, will NOT be asked for a further fee for the settlement.

Thank you I will apply and supply info. My situation is a little odd but I will summarise when I supply all required info.
I do wish that I had known of these groups a bit earlier. A worry shared and all that.

Scam me once, shame on you, scam me twice, shame on me …

All victims have incomplete information, allowing perpetrators to continue their behaviours and actions for longer than would be the case if all victims were aware of the circumstances of one another.

A general principle which applies to this sorry case and having become aware that some people have thrown yet more good money after bad, and significant sums at that, I could no longer hold back from venturing onto this forum.

Some of us have long been aware that this outfit has not returned people’s money to them where balances were held in the various so-called "trusts" at the time of the December 2010 legislation change, such balances varying in magnitude but including amounts running well into five figures.

But one fears not all victims are party to this information as seems evident from the willingness to plunge further monies into the black hole.

Please, please, please, do not send even one more penny of your hard-earned money into a sham structure.

Even a cursory search of published articles and forums should leave one in no doubt as to the utterly dishonourable characters of the management of this outfit and their key henchperson.

What Montpelier are planning won't work. See Page 17.

                https://www.gov.uk/government/upload...nsultation.pdf

                16. The draft legislation also includes a TAAR that disallows money repayments where there is a connection between the repayment and a further avoidance arrangement. This includes cases where a new arrangement is entered into in order for the money repayment to be returned to the individual without an employment income charge.

Example 4.7: An employee ‘A’ received a loan of £10,000 from a trust as part of a DR scheme in 2012. Following the government’s announcement of the new loan charge at Budget 2016, ‘A’ enters into a new arrangement where they repay the loan, but the money ends up back in ‘A’s hands without ‘A’ having paid income tax on that amount.

In 2019 the TAAR will apply to disregard the new arrangement, meaning that ‘A’s loan will still be treated as outstanding for the purposes of the loan charge, and will be taxable in full.

I've come to this late (buried head syndrome) so is there anywhere I can catch up or is it a case of reading all the associated threads?
Me too. It is case of reading several threads I'm afraid.

While it's understandable you want to share all the latest & greatest, you might want to keep in mind that the cretins at HMRC () read these boards.

I have joined WTT BG as advised. I received FN and APN's today and contacted BG and they have advised that from a MP perspective you have to settle the APN.

I thought this was a united front on settlement hence me joining and BG taking my money. If they knew the stance why did they not turn me down as a member. The have offered to represent me for £250.00 to £1000.00. I have paid the joining fee plus the £18.00 per month and contributed to other payments for Barristers can someone please advise what I am doing wrong?
